International PR for UTS Tour
It is always much easier to do PR for a product you genuinely love and believe in, so providing ongoing international media relations support for UTS remains one of our most enjoyable jobs. It has been a hugely successful year for the UTS Tour, with another extraordinary few days of tennis is a Roman Ampitheatre in Nîmes followed by a debut for the fast-paced format in Rio in July. The planned season finale in Gothenburg in mid-December should be just as memorable. Eight players, eight-minute quarters, bonus cards, sudden death points and mid-match interviews, the UTS format is fast, fun, intense and highly competitive (thanks to generous prize-money) and gets the crowd involved from the first ball. It is really is tennis like never before and in an era where tennis matches get longer and longer and the existing audience gets older, it could have a big say in the future of the sport.
