Working with our highly experienced expert colleagues Nerys Nichols and Kevin Connor, we helped the LTA as it entered a new era of host broadcasting of its marquee grass court tournament, the HSBC Championships. After many years of the BBC being both host broadcaster and domestic rights holder, the LTA brought in Aurora and Hawk-Eye/Smart Productions to provide host broadcast from the courts at Queen’s Club. This created a more innovative look and feel for viewers around the world, while the introduction of a rate card (at our suggestion) offered more transparency for rights holding broadcasters, including the LTA’s highly valued domestic rights holders BBC and Tennis Channel. Nerys’ and Kevin’s expertise was invaluable, but El and Faye were also able to draw on their decades of experience in broadcast liaison at multiple Olympic Games.
